Combined with just the perfect cool weather, festive feeling because of Christmas and a time known for family gatherings and reunions, the BER months is not only considered as a joyous holiday season but it is also known as a peak season for Philippine Weddings especially during mid November and December. Couples either tend to get engaged with dozens of romantic proposals everywhere or get hitched during this time. Then just right after the festive New Year celebration comes to an end, begins the start of numerous exhibits featuring the best of the best of Manila’s wedding industry. Bridal fairs not only showcase the best talents in the Philippine Wedding Industry but it also caters primarily to the needs of soon-to-wed couples and even debutantes. During these events, wedding suppliers (as we call them) present their latest package and services with promos, discounts and freebies to their potential clients. Sometimes, major sponsors of these wedding fairs have raffle prizes for bookers at the end of the event that ranges from winning engagement rings, cash discounts to honeymoon packages. Isn’t that awesome?!
To start off, there is the very first online bridal fair held by Weddings at Works (W@W) which I featured previously and then Getting Married Philippines by Ms Kutchie Zaldariaga will host its first of three bridal fairs scheduled this year on January 16-17, May 28-29 and November 5-6, 2016 from 10:00am-08:00pm at SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia. This bridal fair will exhibit known wedding suppliers from the likes of Marco Polo Hotel, Josiah’s Catering, Niceprint Photography, Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, Manila Peninsula Hotel, Teddy Manuel and Gideon Hermosa (event stylists), etc.

Also, Weddings and Beyond will have their annual Wedding and Debut Expo at PICC ground on January 23-25 with tons of freebies, discounts and even raffle entries for on-the-spot bookers.
Moreover, The Wedding Library, a one-stop-shop located at SM North the Block with host its annual Bridal Fair called Weddings & Debut 2016 on February 19-21 at Megatrade Hall 1-3, SM Megamall. The exhibit will feature Juan Carlo the Caterer, Ibarra’s, Tamayo’s Catering, Sulo Riviera, Fernwood Gardens etc. Just like the other bridal fair, admission to this event is free of charge although it is highly recommended to pre-register on their website to avoid the long queue on the day of the event.

So, this is definitely one of the best time to check them out, use your haggling skills and reserve your date! For budget-conscious couple like us, this would be like hitting a dozen birds with one stone.
For further inquiries regarding these fairs, it is best to highly contact them.
Happy preps! 🙂
