This is a very common question for any couple getting married. When is the right time to do our prenup shoot? Next month? After 6 months? 1 month before the wedding? Next holiday? As a former bride myself, I’ve been through these questions dozens of times to the point that Garry was telling me to just choose whichever date is okay and done! We’re good to go. As if it’s that easy… But seriously though, choosing the right, perfect, awesome prenup date is not as easy as 1, 2, 3 because you need to consider a lot of factors. It’s similar to arranging your own wedding event, just that it’s a photoshoot (or videoshoot).
So for your Prenup/ Engagement shoot, you can choose any date, any location you desire, any pegs that you want to do etc but unfortunately, it will still depend on the following factors that you definitely need to consider:
Weddings are crazy especially when it comes to organizing things and choosing the best possible suppliers in town but still within the budget. Since some couples, like us, prefer to do engagement/prenup shoots, hiring a stylist is a must, more so if you have a specific theme in mind. But the problem comes when you get to see their rates which by then would make you feel that it’s beyond your reach. Unless you would push through with this dream engagement shoot or being handled on your wedding day itself by saving up for tit, because let’s face it — working with the best suppliers in the industry doesn’t really come cheap.
But thankfully though, these moments usually come. Oppotunities that happen only once in a lifetime! And guess what? Our prenup stylist, Jeff Galang, who is considered one of the best in the country with a great portfolio handling celebrity wedding and events has an offer you definitely won’t resist! Check it now now!
And by the way, we’re his 49th couple. #JeffGalangBride
I have always dreamed of being a princess and wearing a very beautiful gown on my wedding day. But finding the best and yet affordable couturier that fits our budget who can make what I envision into reality is really tricky. Luckily, I found her. Below is our supplier review for my chosen bridal couture — MEL ORLINA
Mode of Communication:Email, Call (if necessary)
Contact Person:Ms Mel, Ms Michel (staff), Ms Kristine (staff)
We were always fascinated with glamorous art installations, floral decors etc that we see on weddings that’s why we decided to push through in booking a separate Event Stylist for our wedding and that’s GARY DACANAY. Below is our supplier review for him and his team.
Supplier Rating:3.25/5 (Event Styling) and 5/5 (Bridal Bouquet/Groom’s Boutonniere)
Video Prenup Videographer:VIDLENS PRODUCTIONS Supplier Rating:5/5 Package inclusions: Comes with our Heartfelt wedding package
It was Garry who found Vidlens among the long list of upcoming Wedding Videographers in the Philippines and we booked them for our wedding long before we joined the Weddings at Work community so it’s really nice to see how the team has gone so far. (Congrats on being Top 10!) Since we were an overseas couple, we were only able to communicate with Brian Carambas, the owner of Vidlens Productions through skype video calls and FB. We instantly hit it off especially sila ni fiance since he’s also into video editing. My fiance conceptualized the idea of the prenup video shoot and with the help of Brian, literal na inupuan nila through skype video call for 4 hours yung details ng shoot. Sila na ang super OC!
Video Prenup HMUA:ISH SISON Supplier Rating:4.5/5 Package inclusions: Airbrush and unlimited look for the couple OOT Fee:Php 5000 (for Batangas area)
Ish was on top of my shortlisted choices for our HMUA since I’ve seen her works on FB and I really adored how perfectly neat the eyebrows of her clients were! I heard it before that you can know how great your HMUA is if they’re really good with eyebrows..since eyebrows are life!
